Hi, I'm Furkan Akduman 👋

I started my career on the field — working hands-on with automation and packaging machinery, developing and testing software, and understanding how real systems behave beyond theory. That early experience at Harkom taught me how things actually work, not just how they're designed to.

Later, at Evreka, I dove deep into the sustainability and waste management space — where technology meets impact. I began by managing the health and data of IoT-based fill level sensors and field devices, helping customers plan smarter field operations. Then, as part of the Customer Success and Product teams, I started translating technical problems and customer pain points into clear, actionable product stories.

Over time, I led or contributed to the digitization of end-to-end recycling and waste management processes: from asset, fleet, and employee management to digital waste tracking, carbon accounting, and digital product passports. We built systems that track materials from facility entry to recycling output — turning operational complexity into structured, measurable, and sustainable workflows.

Now at Getir, I work in the mapping and data intelligence space — leading teams that power all ETA predictions, route optimizations, and courier behavior analytics. Our work connects location data, real-time performance, and financial logic — everything from warehouse polygons to kilometer-based incentive models and safety scoring — to make operations smarter and more predictable.

My journey has always been about connecting the technical with the human — bringing clarity to complex systems and meaning to the metrics behind them.
